FCRD is a rock dust mined from one unique source in Queensland that is excellent as a soil conditioner and fertilizer for many tropical and temperate climate applications. Trials conducted by the mine's owner and by Palmerston confirm its application and potential with high value crops, with FCRD increasing growth, yield and health of the plants through supplementing the soil with many macro and micro nutrients just not found or replaced by traditional NPH fertilizers.
This in-house project has involved Palmerston in establishing agricultural field trials in a number of crops such as olives, grapes and citrus and developing trial retail operations in Adelaide.
